The Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is available with gasoline powertrains. It can make all the difference between delivering on a promise or making excuses.
Using sensors, it calculates road conditions and audits a variety of elements including speed and throttle. The system then responds, seamlessly delivering torque and power where they’re needed most. In Normal mode, it continuously monitors and optimizes torque output with the capability of sending up to 100% of available torque to the front wheels to help prevent slipping on unpredictable surfaces. Other selectable drive options include Mud & Ruts and Slippery.

Ford AWD Transit Van: Weekend Warrior Setup Standard. Up until now, Ford has offered the Transit in four configurations: cargo van, passenger van, chassis cab, and cutaway. For 2020, Ford will add a crew van to the Transit lineup.
This new configuration will carry up to five people in two rows of seating, with side curtain airbags for all passengers. In short, the crew configuration should prove a perfect start to a productive day. You can carry your entire work crew, some gear in the back, and get everyone there at the same time. No more waiting for the late comers.
